April 16, 2015 saw Malawi Broadcasting Cooperation and China signing a memorandum of understanding which aims at enhancing the production of film and broadcasting content between Malawi and China.

The MOU is a follow up to another MOU that was signed in 2012.The ceremony took place at MBCs Chichiri Broadcasting house.

The function was graced by the Technical Advisor in the ministry of Information, Tourism and Culture Fredirick Ndala while as MBC was represented by the Acting Director general Aubrey Sumbuleta and directors of different sections within the corporation.

While as the deputy director in the international program division Mr. Zhang Min represented the people of China.

MBC, China renew marriage vows through MOU

Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and the Chinese government have revamped their relationship which has existed since 2012 through the signing of a new memorandum of understanding to share and enhance cultures between the two countries through broadcasting.
