Dausi says if elected Member of Parliament for the area, he will focus on accomplishing the vision of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika of developing the district.  He cited a number of development projects he would ensure they are implemented.

These include construction of Mwanza Stadium, Mwanza-Ngadziwe-Chikwawa road, completion of Kunenekude road which proceeds to Tsangano in Ntcheu, construction of a health centre at Tulonkhondo, new school blocks in several primary and secondary schools in the constituency and ensure that strict rules are put in place that medicine and medical equipment are protected.

The DPP Shadow MP then advised the people that they need to vote for the DPP in order to ensure continued development in the area citing an example of the Community Technical College that the Mutharika government has constructed in the district.

Gracing the occasion was the Minister of Gender, Honourable Cecelia Chazama who on her part took swipe on the Former President Dr. Joyce Banda describing her as a person who is confused and can't be trusted. She, therefore, edged women to pull out their support from Joyce Banda and vote for Professor Mutharika because of his good track record in supporting women, children, the elderly and the disabled.
