Dr.Fabiano was speaking at Lidala Village in the area of Senior Chief Mpama in the district during the official handing over of Matete Junior Primary school.
He said, “The good leadership of President Professor Mutharika has created an enabling environment so much that we are able to develop our areas."
In his remarks Executive Director for ABC Foundation Joseph Franz Kunn said he is happy to be part and parcel of the team that is aimed at improving education standards in Malawi.
“Malawi needs more schools because the population is also high," said Kunn.
He further said every year they build a school in Malawi but in 2018 they have managed to build two schools.
Matete Junior Primary School is the 16th school built by ABC Foundation of Germany.
Also speaking was Deputy District Education Manager for Chiradzulu, Sara Gracious Khozi, who hailed Dr. Fabiano for helping in promoting quality education standards in the district.
She said the legislator for the area has facilitated construction of more than three schools due to his development consciousness.
"This school will help children who used to walk long distances to access quality Education within their locality."
In addition Khozi said the school will also help to reduce teacher-pupil ratio in Chiradzulu. Meanwhile a teacher-pupil ratio in Malawi is 1-60.
The school has been built with support from ABC Foundation of Germany to the tune of over 40 million Kwacha.
