2018 PSLC exam results out

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in conjunction with Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has released the 2018 Primary School Leaving Certificate of Examination results.

Out of the 279, 084 candidates who sat for this years’s examinations 210, 324 have qualified for the award of the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education. This represents 79.39% pass rate.


In a statement signed by Justin Saidi who is Secretary for Education, Science and Technology says all candidates are informed that their results are available at centres where they registered.


“All candidates wishing to query their results should do so in writing through their heads of schools where they registered,” reads part of the statement.


The press statement further states that MANEB will not entertain any query about the results made directly to the board by candidates or any other individual.


“All queries should reach MANEB by Friday, 31st August, 2018. After this date, no further queries will be entertained. All students who have been selected to start form 1 are requested to report to schools they have been selected to by Monday, 10th September, 2018,” adds the statement.
