Hilal Africa treats over 3000 muslims in Salima to a feast

A Germany Charitable Organisation, Hilal Africa, has treated to a feast over 3000 muslims around Mikute Village, Traditional Authority Maganga in Salima as part of celebrations marking Eid-ul-fitri
festival.

Marking the start of the festival, devout Muslims gathered in large numbers and performed Eid Ul fitri prayers before the feast, breaking the month long dawn to sunset fasting of Ramadan.

Chairperson for the organisation, Umut Turan, said the initiative is in line with the organisation’s mission of reaching out to different communities with charity work, irrespective of religious affiliation.
