One of the country’s mobile phone network service providers Airtel Malawi has adjusted upward its voice and data bundles effective 10 April 2024.
A statement made available to MBC Digital indicates that voice bundles have been raised by 15 percent, data bundles by 23 percent and SMS bundles by 20 percent.
The public-listed company has attributed the development to the recent increase in electricity tariffs and the depreciation of the Kwacha.
The company says the adjustments have been approved by Macra.
The company made a similar price change in December last year.
