Africa Netball says it is impressed with Malawi’s level of organisation for the ongoing Africa Netball Cup tournament.
Africa Netball president, Rabbecca Gaogoses, said this in Lilongwe during the tournament’s progress media update, describing the competition as impressive and unpredictable.
“Malawi has raised the bar high and the organisation of the event is impressive with excellent challenges solved when they arise,” said Gaogoses.
Chairperson for the Local Organising Committee, Limbani Matola, hailed Africa Netball for the support, describing the success as a big collective effort.
Matola also recognised the fans for embracing the tournament by turning up to watch the games, urging more patronage as the tournament reaches its climax with the last group stage matches.
The 2025 Africa Netball Cup is set for another exciting turn this Friday as the Malawi Queens and Kings take to the court for their must-win final group-stage matches against Tanzania and Kenya, respectively, to secure qualification for Saturday’s semifinals.
