ACB urged to conclude corruption cases

Minister of Information and Digitalisation, Moses Kunkuyu, has urged the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to handle corruption cases quickly to instil confidence in Malawians in the anti-graft fight.

Kunkuyu made the remarks during an event to mark this year’s Anti Corruption Day at Kaphatenga ground in Salima.

He said the ACB has an obligation to periodically inform Malawians on the progress of cases under prosecution.

He added that government will continue to support ACB to fulfil its mandate of awareness, prevention and prosecution of corruption cases.

Acting ACB Director, Hillary Chilomba, urged all Malawians to take responsibility by reporting corruption to curb the vice.
