Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) is set to start buying crops from farmers this month for the 2024/2025 season.
With an allocation of K22 billion for maize procurement, ADMARC says it will adhere to government-approved farm-gate prices while initiating purchases primarily in the Southern Region, before extending to specific areas in the Central Region.
Target crops include maize, soya beans, paddy rice, and beans.
